All teachers who attend TAH.org programs are given a certificate vouching for the hours spent with us, and this certificate can be used to meet continuing education requirements with districts and states across the country. TAH.org also offers participants the opportunity to earn 1 content-area graduate credit from attending a Seminar, Weekend Colloquium, Liberty Fund Colloquium, and certain special programs.
TAH.org offers 1 credit in American History and Government for teachers who attend three one-day Seminars that together form a coherent topical whole and complete an assignment after the sequence is complete. TAH.org will indicate which programs are available for credit on our Events Calendar, and will list the other two required programs in the sequence.
The cost for this option is $175, and details about registration will be provided at eligible programs. Work to be completed consists of essay questions, with answers based on program readings, coming out to 1000-1250 words per Seminar, meaning three essays for 1 credit after attending one Seminar, or 1500-1750 words each for two essays for weekend programs.
