Equality and Liberty in American History & Literature

This course examines the two fundamental American ideas using historical documents and literary texts. The course will be co-taught by a political scientist and a literary scholar. The two and a half day course may be audited or taken for one semester credit hour at the graduate level, and will provide time for the participants to consider how the documents might be used in their classrooms and curricula. Arrival for this course begins Tuesday, July 11 at 4:30 pm.
