Join teachers from across Missouri and the Midwest for a one-day Seminar about the form and role of democracy in the American system of government and politics. The idea of American exceptionalism – that is, uniqueness – will also feature in this documents-based program, which will consist of three discussion sessions rooted in a collection of primary documents from across American history. All registrants will receive a paper copy of the reader in advance of this free program, and lunch will included.
This Seminar will take place in conjunction with the Missouri Humanities Council’s “Humanities and the Future Symposium: Humanities and Democracy.“
Access program materials after 1 FEB 19 here.
