One-Day Seminar: American Foreign Policy, hosted by the Arizona Department of Education (Phoenix, AZ)

January 30, 2018, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Join teachers from around the state to discussion America’s foreign policy, from the era of the Founding through the late 20th Century. Documents in the reader will explore the original principles laid out by Washington and Jefferson, among others, and challenges and changes to those ideas over time, with special consideration of the Cold War. Applicable to American History, World History, Government, and Geography teachers, this free program consists of three 90-minute discussion sessions. Lunch is on your own, and all registrants will be sent a paper copy of the reader a few weeks before the program.
