This seminar discusses the victories of the second-wave feminist movement, specifically the shift in American society as women left the home for the workforce in the 1970s and 1980s. The seminar readings highlight “radical consequences of incremental change” as women negotiated their place in a new American landscape and what it meant to “have it all”.
