November 13 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join teachers from the Houston area to discuss the problems the Lincoln administration – and United States as a whole – faced through the challenge of Reconstruction. Using a collection of primary sources, teachers will discuss Lincoln’s views on and work toward reconstructing – that is, building a post-slavery America – before, during, and after the Civil War. Participants will receive a certificate for continuing education hours, as well as physical copy of the documents reader. Digital copies of the agenda and reader will be available shortly.
