One Day Seminar: Social Reform – 1790 to 1850, hosted by Broken Arrow Schools (Tulsa, OK)

Join teachers from the region to study the various social reform movements that shaped and shook American culture, society, and politics during the era of pre-Civil War expansion. Readings and discussions will address the evolving political and social impact of the American Revolution, the influence of religion in American society, and the growing Abolition movement into the middle decades of the 19th Century.

All teachers will be provided with a primary source reading packet in advance of the program, and PDF copies of the agenda and reader will be available here after January 1st. Lunch and a continuing education certificate will also be provided during this free program.
