One-Day Seminar: The Civil War, hosted by Phoenix Union HSD (Phoenix, AZ)

October 23 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Explore the American Civil War through a collection of original documents and learn, through the words of the time, about the military, social, and political dimensions of the war that threatened to destroy the American Union. Teachers will engage in discussion during three 90-minute sessions, each focusing on a subtopic under the broader heading of the war itself. Lunch will be provided, as well as a continuing education certificate for all participants. The reader will be mailed to all registrants in advance of the program, and digital copies of the reader and agenda will be available here shortly.
