Join teachers from the San Diego area to discuss the key domestic and foreign policy issues of the Gilded Age, and the ideas behind them, through a collection of original documents. Teachers will take part in three 90-minute discussion sessions, led by Dr. David Tucker of Ashland University, using the words and arguments of the times to better understand the people, events, and movements of this pivotal point in American history. All registrants will receive a paper copy of the documents reader in advance of the program date, and digital copies of the agenda and reader will be available shortly.
All participants will receive a certificate for continuing education hours, and lunch will be provided, as well.
