One-Day Seminar – Trailblazers and Torchbearers: Women in American History hosted by Palm Beach County Schools (West Palm Beach, FL)

Explore the contributions of women in American political history, through the people, events, and ideas of three distinct eras.  This seminar-style program will be broken into three sessions, each focusing on a different set of primary documents readings in order to explore a specific era: Women of Reform and Revolution;Women in the Progressive Era; and Is Suffrage Enough? One-Day Seminar: Civil Rights: Leaders and Speeches hosted by Palm Beach County Schools (West Palm Beach, FL)

April 27 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Dig deeply into the ideas of the Civil Rights Movement through the words of its thinkers and leaders. Drawing from speeches and writings from across the decades, this Seminar will help you better understand what they meant, their arguments, and how their words were received at the time.
