One-Day Seminar: Congress and the Evolution of Legislative Power (Colorado Springs, CO)
October 24 @ 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
This Seminar will focus on the institution of Congress: its powers, the evolution, expansion, and sometime-reinterpretation of its role in American politics and public life. Perfect for Government teachers, this program is also well-suited to American History teachers, as the documents included in the reader and considered during the program form a series of case studies of Congressional activity throughout American history.
All registrants will be provided with a paper copy of the readings in advance of the program.
Lunch will be provided, along with a certificate for continuing education. Agenda and reader will be available by mid-September here.
