One-Day Seminar: Modern Social Movements hosted by Cistercian Preparatory School (Irving, TX)
June 5 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Beginning with the upheavals of the 1960s, the United States saw a diverse set of groups pushing for social change. This seminar will focus on the legacy of the 1960s, the intersection of personal behavior with political movements and battles won and lost by various groups. Please join us for a lively discussion of the primary sources that tell the story of these movements, the players and the key events.
Lunch will be provided at this free program, as well as a certificate for continuing education. All registrants will receive a copy of the reader, on paper, in advance of the program; and digital copies will be available here after early May 2020. Click here to register.
