Study the evolving relationship between presidents and political parties through case studies of three eras of American history: during the early Republic; in the mid-19th Century, and during the Progressive Era. Teachers will work through a series of original documents from a variety of authors, and will gain a deeper understanding of the shifting balance of power between these political institutions and the individuals who serve as president.
All attendees of this free Seminar will be provided with a certificate for continuing education and digital and paper copies of the agenda and documents reader can be found here. WebEx login credentials will be sent by email on the day before each session. Click here to register.
