Study social and religious reform movements from the first decades of the American experiment in self-government. Ranging from 1790-1850, this program will spotlight documents from a variety of reformers and reform movements. All registrants will be provided a documents reader of primary sources, a certificate for continuing education, and lunch at this free program. All TAH.org programs are conducted as seminars, with one of our faculty acting as Discussion Leader, and all participants provided an equal say in the discussion. Neither a lesson, lecture, nor presentation, this is an opportunity to meet with a diverse group of American History and American Government teachers to discuss some of the most essential elements of the American style of government, both conceptually and through historical case studies.

Access digital copies of the agenda and reader here after 1 JAN 2020.
