One-Day Seminar: Woodrow Wilson’s ‘Party Government in the United States’ hosted by Arizona Department of Education (Held Online)
April 15 @ 4:05 pm - 5:15 pm
Woodrow Wilson, writing several years before his successful 1912 presidential campaign, described a party system that would operate for different purposes than it had – from his perspective – operated during the 19th Century, serving as go-betweens connecting the people and the federal government. This Progressive Era argument for a new form and purpose for parties helps lay the foundation for a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of political parties in America.
All attendees of this free Seminar will be provided with a certificate for continuing education and a digital copy of the agenda and document (held online).
