SUMMARY:The Legislative Branch
DESCRIPTION:Learn about the evolution of Congress in this documents-based Seminar. The documents will explore the major issues and concerns over congressional representation at the Constitutional Convention\, the powers of Congress\, the balance of those powers between the States and federal government and will conclude with Congress and the modern administrative state. \nThis program will be conducted as a discussion\, utilizing primary source documents as the only readings\, and with the Discussion Leader facilitating the conversation\, instead of lecturing or presenting. Registrants\, therefore\, are highly encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions. All attendees will receive a Letter of Attendance at the end of the seminar.
