Sean D. Sutton is professor of political science in the College of Liberal Arts at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is co-author of The Supreme Court Against the Criminal Jury: Social Science and the Palladium of Liberty (Lexington, 2014). He is co-editor of and contributor to American Statesmanship, Principles and Practice of Leadership (Notre Dame, 2021) as well as Perspectives on Politics in Shakespeare (Lexington, 2006). He is editor of Biotechnology: Our Future as Human Beings and Citizens (SUNY 2009). He is currently working on a book on the Enlightenment foundations of rational choice theory.
