The motion was divided; and the first part, respecting the appointment of a committee to examine and report the decisions of the several States on the amendments proposed by Congress to the Constitution of the United States, was agreed to; and Messrs. Steele, Moore, and Contee were appointed. The other part respecting additional amendments was negative.)
