Convention Contributions: Few was absent for a large part of the convention due to serving in the Continental Congress, however despite never making a speech, he provided national votes at critical times. William Pierce said he “possesses a strong natural Genius, and from application has acquired some knowledge of legal matters.”

New Government Participation: Few served in the U.S. Senate from 1789-1793. Later he served as a judge of the Circuit Court of Georgia (1794-1797) and in the state assembly (1802-1805).
