World War II
The attack on Pearl Harbor was the culmination of a decade of tension between Japan and the U.S. The Japanese attack unified the nation, ending two years of debate over whether or not the wars in Europe and the Pacific were America’s wars to fight. This seminar will examine the U.S. involvement in WWII using primary documents from the World War II Core Documents Volume.
Using discussion and primary documents, Professor Green will facilitate the conversation instead of lecturing. Registrants are highly
encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions. Participants will receive a letter of attendance.
