This co-sponsored colloquium will center on the life and writings of George Washington as one of the key figures in America’s Founding. The sessions all focus on Washington’s contributions to liberty and self-government in the United States, first as revolutionary and military commander, then as an advocate for federalism and republican government, and finally as president and statesman.
