Liberty Fund Co-Sponsored Weekend: Presidents and the Constitution – George Washington (Mount Vernon, VA)

This co-sponsored colloquium will center on the life and writings of George Washington as one of the key figures in America’s Founding. The sessions all focus on Washington’s contributions to liberty and self-government in the United States, first as revolutionary and military commander, then as an advocate for federalism and republican government, and finally as president and statesman.

Application Deadline: March 8, 2017

Participation is based on a competitive application process. If selected, the stipend for this program is $400.

Qualifications are below.

  • Applicants must be current K-12 school teachers, with priority given to high school teachers
  • Teachers who attended a TAH.org Liberty Fund weekend during the 2016-2017 school year are not eligible to apply for the 17-18 year
