One-Day Seminar: American Foreign Policy, hosted by Broken Arrow Schools, Tulsa, OK

September 24 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join teachers from the Tulsa area to discuss the ideas and events key to understanding American foreign policy, from the 1790s through the decades after WW2. Americans have always looked beyond their own borders. Nevertheless, the Founders advised Americans to steer clear of foreign quarrels. This seminar will examine how the tension between these two tendencies has played out through the history of the United States.

All participants will receive a certificate for continuing education hours; a physical copy of the documents reader will be sent to all registrants in advance of the program; lunch will be provided; and digital copies of the agenda and reader will be available here shortly.
