NEH EDSITEment Lesson Plans

The Ashbrook Center at Ashland University worked with the National Endowment for the Humanities to develop web-based lesson plans for U.S. history and American government teachers. The lessons created as a part of this partnership have been placed on the NEH’s EDSITEment web site, which features the best of the humanities on the web. EDSITEment is funded in part by the Verizon Foundation and is a contributor to its educator platform,

This project was funded by a three-year, $375,000 cooperative agreement and a three-year, $186,900 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. These activities are a part of the NEH’s We the People initiative. The project was led by Dr. John Moser, Assistant Professor of History at Ashland University, and the lessons were developed from distinguished faculty and secondary school teachers from across the nation.
