[FULL] Online Seminar: Woodrow Wilson’s Progressivism hosted by Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum (Staunton, VA)
August 6 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Progressive political theory was a driving force behind the presidency of Woodrow Wilson. Wilson, who defined progressivism in his own way, wished to use his presidency to intervene in American life in ways not previously imagined. Wilson’s presidency left a lasting impact on the nation and expanded the president’s role in American politics. Join us in a conversation about the ideas, proposals, and legacies of the Wilson administrations.
Teachers will receive a link for the seminar approximately one week prior to the event. Each participant will receive an e-copy of a reading packet of primary sources available here after early July 2020, and a virtual tour of Wilson’s birthplace. Click here to register.
This seminar is limited to the first 20 registered participants.
