Courtney Reiner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Social Studies degree from Kent State University and a Master’s of American History and Government degree from Ashland University. She taught 14 and a half years in northwest Ohio, where she began a competitive We the People team and Advanced Placement United States History program. She served on Ohio Department of Education committees, updating the standards for Government and American History, and helped develop the model curriculum for American History. She serves as a We the People mentor teacher through the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education and received the James Madison Legacy Project fellowship for We the People. She resides in Bowling Green Ohio with her two sons and husband.
