JFK and Foreign Policy

JFK and Foreign Policy

John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s brief time as President was not without several international challenges. What exactly was the ‘New Frontier’? This seminar will focus on such topics as the administration’s thoughts on the Berlin Wall, the problems in Latin American and Cuba, then pivot to the U.S. involvement in South Vietnam and eventually escalation in the Vietnam War. Join us as unlock the primary documents during this extraordinary period.

Using discussion and primary documents, Professor Pullin will facilitate the conversation instead of lecturing. Registrants are highly encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions.
