The Roaring 20s

The Roaring 20s

What made the 1920s “roar”? We know about flappers, music, and prohibition but what did that mean for politics, policy, the economy, and American society? Study these questions and multiple perspectives through a collection of original sources. Come be a part of the intriguing conversation.

This program will be conducted as a discussion, utilizing primary source documents as the only readings, and with Professor Williams facilitating the conversation, instead of lecturing or presenting. Registrants, therefore, are highly encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions. Teachers will receive a Letter of Attendance at the conclusion of the seminar.
