Women in Politics
Using compelling original documents study the roles and actions of women in the political heritage of the United States with a nod to the women that helped shape Texas politics. Join us as we explore the ideas and impact of women during the Founding, the Suffrage Movement and the 20th century.
This program will be conducted as a discussion, utilizing primary documents as the only readings with the professor facilitating the conversation instead of lecturing. Registrants are highly encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions. Participants will receive a Letter of Attendance at the end of the day.
